St Catherine Monastery

Plan a day trip to St Catherine Monastery, a two-hour drive from Taba. Located at the foot of Mount Sinai, this is believed to be the place where God spoke to Moses in the Burning Bush. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2002, the St Catherine Area is a significant site for all three of the Abrahamic faiths.
