Salah al-Din Castle

Located on Pharoah’s Island, also known as Coral Island, the Salah al-Din Castle is a stunning work of architecture named after the legendary Sultan Salah al-Din (Saladin), who greatly expanded the fortress after capturing it from the Crusaders in the 12th Century. The castle, which overlooks several neighboring countries, has been recently restored and offers visitors a truly magnificent panoramic view of its surroundings. A short ferry ride away from Taba, the Salah al-Din Castle combines history and spectacular views.
