The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is the oldest archaeological museum in the MENA region and a must-see during any visit to Cairo. The iconic building, designed in 1895 by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon, is a historic landmark in downtown Cairo and home to some of the world’s most stunning ancient Egyptian treasures. It houses a vast collection of antiquities, spanning from the Predynastic to the Graeco-Roman periods.
