Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline is 1,050 km long, running from the city of Alexandria in the east all the way to Marsa Matruh in the west, making it one of the longest Mediterranean coastlines in North Africa. In between these two cities, you can find the smaller towns of Sidi Abdel Rahman, Al-Alamein, and Ras al-Hekma, all of which have year-round resident populations.
