Cairo is preparing to host a major environmental and climate conference, chaired by Professor Mahmoud Mohieldin, the United Nations Special Envoy on Financing the 2030 Agenda, and sponsored by the League of Arab States. The conference aims to raise awareness of pressing climate and environmental issues, while highlighting pioneering projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development. Accompanying Exhibition and Ambitious Initiatives: The conference includes an accompanying exhibition highlighting several innovative projects in the field of sustainable development, providing a unique platform to showcase efforts in this regard. The event will also witness the launch of several new initiatives that promote environmental action and sustainable development in the region.

The opening session will be held at the League of Arab States, while the remaining sessions will be held at Nile University.

Honoring Pioneers and Achieving Egypt's Vision 2030: In a significant step, the conference will honor projects that align with Egypt's ambitious 2030 Climate Change Vision, reflecting the country's commitment to supporting initiatives that achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and mitigate the effects of climate change.
