Two consecutive concerts by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be held at the heart of the Grand Egyptian Museum under the leadership of the world-renowned maestro Stephen Bell, during which a combination of world classical music masterpieces by Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, and Ravel will be presented, as well as excerpts from world cinema masterpieces such as Harry Potter and Star Wars.
The two musicians, Amira and Mariam Abu Zahra, will add their musical touch to the only Egyptian participation with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra by playing the solo violin for each of them, in a historic participation in an exceptional event for the first time in Egypt, as Amira will play with the orchestra on November 15, while Mariam will play in the concert on November 16.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is the oldest artistic musical institution representing the United Kingdom, headed by King Charles III as the official patron of the orchestra affiliated with the Royal Institution, and is known worldwide for presenting prestigious concerts of world cinematic music masterpieces in the world's largest theaters annually.
