"Forever Is Now" Returns: Global Contemporary Art Meets the Pyramids of Giza!

The international contemporary art exhibition, "Forever Is Now," is set to stage its fifth edition at the majestic Pyramids of Giza from November 11 to December 6, 2025. A press conference unveiled a stellar lineup of ten global artists, including icons like Michelangelo Pistoletto (Italy), Vhils (Portugal), and local talent Saleha El Masri (Egypt), who will present monumental installations against the backdrop of this unique historical wonder. Dignitaries, including Dr. Zahi Hawass and officials from the Ministry of Culture, hailed the event for bridging ancient heritage with modern creativity, with Dr. Hawass noting that the artists will sense the "greatness of this unique historical site." This edition also features a collaboration with the Cairo International Film Festival, promising an unprecedented cultural synergy.

Beyond the main spectacle, the event expands its cultural footprint with two major parallel projects: the Cairo International Art District (CIAD) (Oct 12 – Nov 16) in Downtown Cairo, featuring over 70 artists and honoring South Korea as the Guest of Honor to celebrate 30 years of cultural ties; and a specialized Decorative Arts Exhibition at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir (Nov 14 – 24). With this expanded program, "Forever Is Now" 2025 is positioned as a definitive landmark on the global art calendar, offering a rich, immersive experience that celebrates international exchange, creativity, and the enduring legacy of Egypt.
