November 15th marks the 120th anniversary of the inauguration of the Egyptian Museum, the oldest archeological museum in the Middle East. With artifacts all the way from the Predynastic period to the Greco-Roman era, the Egyptian Museum is home to the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. The museum was first inaugurated in 1902 by Khedive Abbas Helmy II. On this momentous occasion, Egypt will be hosting tour guides at the museum for locals and tourists to delve into its historic beauty.
The all-day event will be held on Tuesday, 15 November 2022 at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, Cairo.
